Writing Winning Research Proposals

Date: 14/07/2025

Time: 2:00 – 4:00 PM

Venue: PGIA Auditorium

A robust and well-defined assessment process, underpinned by transparent evaluation criteria and strict adherence to guidelines, is essential for crafting impactful research proposals. Core criteria—including excellence, societal and scientific impact, and the quality and efficiency of implementation—guarantee that proposals uphold rigorous standards and achieve significant outcomes. Integrating advanced AI tools can optimize this process, enabling researchers to align their work with these criteria by facilitating idea generation, refining proposal content, and ensuring clarity, coherence, and precision. The workshop, which explored these strategies, attracted over 30 enthusiastic participants, including permanent academic staff and postgraduate students. Through interactive sessions, attendees gained practical insights into leveraging AI-driven approaches to enhance proposal development.
