Core criteria—including excellence, societal and scientific impact, and the quality and efficiency of implementation—guarantee that proposals uphold rigorous standards and achieve significant outcomes. Integrating advanced AI tools can optimize this process, enabling researchers to align their work with these criteria by facilitating idea generation, refining proposal content, and ensuring clarity, coherence, and precision. The workshop, which explored these strategies, attracted over 30 enthusiastic participants, including permanent academic staff and postgraduate students.
